Bosozoku

Publication / Typography

Bosozoku is defined as "running out of control"and represents a Japanese subculture of motorcycle gangs in the 1950s.The concept of my publication delves into the world of Japanese Bosozoku, presenting vivid narratives that explore their motivations and rebellious individualism.Through these stories, the publication highlights their defiance against mainstream expectations and social norms, offering the audience an intimate look into their bold and unapologetic lifestyle.

The visual communications for this book are designed to reflect the spirit of Bosozoku being loud, unconventional, and unstoppable.By embracing bold typography, striking imagery, and dynamic layouts, the visuals convey the energy, chaos, and rebellion that define this subculture. This approach captures the raw essence of Bosozoku, immersing the audience in their world and making the experience as unrestrained as their identity.
